This summer, Tate Modern will present the first major UK exhibition dedicated to the multidisciplinary artist Ana Mendieta in more than a decade. Active during the 1970s and 1980s, Mendieta developed a groundbreaking practice that challenged conventional notions of sculpture, photography, and film. Using her own terminology to describe her work, she is best known for her earth-body works.

The Nivola Museum in Orani presents Nivola, Colombo and the Space Around, on view from 24 July to 25 October 2026. Curated by Chiara Gatti and Anna Pirisi, in collaboration with the Gianni Colombo Archive, Milan.
